Five years ago, a dedicated and militant base of New Jersey activists began to organize and courageously #resist the corporate takeover of our communities and the destabilization of our democracy. We are the fearless and militant activists of of NJ Communities United - a grassroots social justice organization dedicated to building power for working class communities, communities of color and immigrant communities.We have taken over bank branches, disrupted shareholder meetings, organized mass student walk-outs, shut down major traffic routes, and staged a week-long sit-in at the Newark Superintendent's office.
