Just like Wall Street turned housing into an exploitative,  speculative venture, banks and the politicians that serve them are seeking to do the same with public education. Our public schools are threatened by defunding, poor student-teacher ratios, and right-wing efforts to funnel tax dollars into private and charter schools. The effort to break public education lines the pockets of private companies and dooms our young people to dismal futures.

New Jersey Communities United is building a strong organization of parents, teachers, students and education advocates to fight for public schools and the bright future our young people deserve.
